The Peppermint Creeps were formed in 1997 by drummer Traci Michaelz bassist Kari Ash and singer/guitarist Macy Malone. Influenced by such bands as Motley Crue, The Sex Pistols, KISS and The New York Dolls, The Creeps set out to change the face and sound of music. Their first show was at The Whisky A Go Go in Hollywood playing to a maximum capacity crowd. Their following has been growing exponentially since. A 5 song E.P. was recorded shortly after the show called "CreE.P.show". This CD was produced by Phil Soussan ( Ozzy Osbourne, Vince Neil, Beggars and Thieves, John Waite) and Randy Castillo (Motley Crue, The Motels, Ozzy Osbourne, Lita Ford). In 2002 The Peppermint Creeps recruited second guitarist/singer Eddie Electra and recorded their second full length, self-finaced and produced CD entitled "Animatron X". The band did a tour from Los Angeles to New York and back, returning with thousands of fans. Sales of the CD skyrocketted upon their return home due to massive internet sales. After two years of playing shows The Peppermint Creeps needed some new material. In 2004 they recorded their third album called "We R The Weirdoz ! ! !" with Eddie switching to bass guitar and adding new guitarist Robbie Stylez. The band went back out on the road to support their new CD which sold out. Internet orders are backed up due to demand. Now, 2007, with Billi Blade replacing Eddie Electra, the newest and best line-up is ready for the future. They just finished recording their tribute CD entitled "Cover Up" and are currently working on a new full-length CD which will be available in late 2007.
